  The Quilt Corner in Beaver Bay, Minnesota is a "must stop" small local shop perfect for quiltaholics, and those looking for unique fabrics specifically reflecting their visit or lifestyle on the North Shore. The Quilt Corner has a variety of panels and projects ready to go. As expected from a modern quilt store you will find Jelly rolls and bolts of fabric of all colors and themes including batik, baby, food, wildlife, woods, lake life, lighthouses and fishing. Most recently I purchased 2.5 yards of food-themed fabric which I made into custom chef pants for my husband. He want's beer pants next and this will be where I buy the fabric from! Price comparison online showed The Quilt Corner to charge a reasonable amount and for the themed prints actually a more economical option in most cases. A discount is offered for locals and seasonal residents, make sure to ask their friendly staff. Today I was really happy to see the Jon Van Zyle Fabric and panels perfect for sled dog fans and people who might be in the area to see the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon this weekend.

  A wonderful shop with more wildlife, nature and animal fabric than I have seen elsewhere. The owner is very welcoming, nice and helpful. I live in Castle Danger and I am glad that I found a reasonably priced fabric shop that has all the fabric I would ever want without driving to Duluth.
